What we collect
- Account data — business name, trading address, company and VAT numbers, contact name, email and phone.
- Order data — what you ordered, when, delivery details and payment status.
- Enquiry data — anything you send us through the contact form or by email.
- Technical data — a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and server logs including IP address.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To open and run your trade account, and to take and fulfil orders — performance of a contract.
- To verify a business, check licences and prevent fraud — legitimate interests.
- To keep accounting and VAT records — legal obligation.
- To answer your enquiries — legitimate interests.
Who we share it with
Only where necessary: our hosting provider, delivery carriers, payment providers and our accountants. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for third-party marketing.
How long we keep it
Account and order records are kept for seven years to meet HMRC requirements. Enquiries that do not become accounts are deleted within two years.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict processing, or ask for it in a portable format. Email biz@99imperial.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
